The WBH3 generally runs on Saturday afternoons in and around Wilmington  Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Leland and the surrounding areas. You can always expect plenty of shiggy (thorns, mud, swamp, biting insects, etc), alot of laughs, beer and good cheer! This is NOT a competitive outing. Rather a great way to get a little excercise, drink beer or your beverage of choice, and have a great time.

Virgins (1st timers) are always FREE! after that it will cost you $5 and maybe a little dignity. We often have themed runs and costumes are strongly encouraged.

Always a good idea to bring a dry bag (change of clothes), sunscreen, bugspray, sense of humor and thick skin.

Friendly dogs are almost always welcome--check with the hare for that days trail info (dog friendly or not so much IE: pub crawls or stops)

What NOT to bring: A Bad Attitude, competitive expectations, anyone under 21 (unless "Family" hash is announced and in which case the debauchery will be subdued).

There are NO RULES in hashing.......but we do have traditions and the occasional breaking from tradition often result into drinking a down down
